5c. Finding Additional Books
PreviousNext

I've got one book that's perfect as a source. How can I find others?

Try both of these approaches:

  • Look up that "perfect" book in the library catalog, doing either a title or author search. When the description comes on the screen, check near the bottom, under Subject to see what subject headings were assigned to the book. Now, search the catalog under those subjects to find similar books.

  • Look to see if your "perfect" book has a bibliography or list of references, either at the very end or at the back of each chapter. These sources should be highly relevant and may be available to you in the library.
